The Dalmatian Energy Agency (DEA) will – due to the great interest of citizens, on Thursday June 1 and Friday June 2, 2023 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., in the Joker Shopping Center (Put brodarice 6, Split) – hold another information desk where all interested parties will be able to obtain information related to the use of solar energy and the installation of photovoltaic systems on houses or buildings.
At the info desk, as before, there will be a detailed Guide for installing a photovoltaic system on a house or building, which contains answers to numerous questions related to the use of solar energy. The guide answers topics about whether it is worth installing a photovoltaic system, what the legal procedure is, what tax rates apply, as well as detailed technical characteristics important for setting up the system. The guide can be downloaded in digital form from the website of the Dalmatian Energy Agency www.dea-sdz.hr.
The director of the Dalmatian Energy Agency, Mario Jakić, reminded that DEA continuously provides free advisory services to all those interested in the installation of photovoltaic systems. He emphasized the fact that due to the large number of hours of sunshine in the Split-Dalmatia County, the residents of Gad have a natural predisposition to achieving energy independence. “The Dalmatian Energy Agency has published a database of certified contractors and designers of renewable energy systems on its website, in order to make it easier for citizens. The database will be continuously updated and supplemented. The list of certified contractors and designers of renewable energy systems covers the territory of the Split-Dalmatia County, as well as the entire Republic of Croatia. Citizens will be able to send questions and ask for recommendations through the website,” explained DEA director Jakić and added that DEA will supervise the work of certified contractors and designers. He also once again invited designers of photovoltaic systems and contractors to register in the DEA Database.
Furthermore, Jakić reminded that the Split-Dalmatia County recently published a public call for applications for grants related to encouraging the use of renewable energy sources in family homes in the county. It is about encouraging the installation of photovoltaic power plants for the needs of households with an installed power of up to 10 kW and for the installation of a heat pump. The amount of support will depend on the total power of the photovoltaic power plant, so it will amount to EUR 2,000 for up to 10 kW, EUR 1,500 for up to 8 kW, and EUR 1,000 for up to 5 kW. Incentives for installing a heat pump will amount to 2,500 euros. The Split-Dalmatia County has also announced a tender for submitting applications for grants from the Systematic Energy Management Program for the introduction of electric vehicles in taxi transport and encouraging the introduction of electric vehicles in the segment of light delivery vehicles, encouraging the reduction of energy consumption and light pollution of public lighting and for the development and implementation educational program in the field of energy transition. Encouraging the introduction of electric vehicles in taxi transport amounts to 2,654.46 euros, while support for the introduction of vehicles in the segment of light delivery vehicles amounts to 3,981.68 euros. The details of these public calls are published on the website of the Split-Dalmatia County and the Dalmatian Energy Agency.
The DEA also sent a proposal to all municipalities and cities in the Split-Dalmatia County that, in cooperation with the DEA, they organize lectures for citizens, where Agency experts, among other things, could directly answer the specific questions of citizens who, due to the rise in energy prices more and more interested in installing their own solar panels.
