The Dalmatian Energy Agency (DEA) is a public non-profit institution founded in 2022. year and operates primarily in the territory of Split-Dalmatia County, in accordance with the needs of Šibenik-Knin, Dubrovnik-Neretva and Zadar Counties, and as necessary in other parts of the country.

The agency consists of experts who acquired knowledge in the field of electrical engineering and telecommunications through many years of work in the real sector, and with their knowledge and skills in the field of preparing and submitting project documentation for tenders from ESI funds, project management, energy efficiency and related areas through consulting services and concrete creation project documentation, we want to help all interested stakeholders in the energy transition. We offer help in finding a model of grant funding from EU funds with an emphasis on:

– Introduction of solar energy systems (thermal and photovoltaic) in households;

– increasing energy production and the share of renewable energy sources (RES), primarily solar energy, in total energy consumption, and consequently reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Here we help local and regional self-government units, institutions, cooperatives, trading companies, natural persons (artisans), family farms, private landlords, independent businesses, managers of multi-apartment buildings and other legal entities;

– production investments of small, medium and large companies that will result in a more energy and resource efficient economy through increasing the use of renewable energy sources, introducing resource efficiency into the production cycle and product life, and reducing emissions from energy-intensive industries.

Vision

A significant share of energy production from renewable sources – primarily solar energy in the economy, public sector and households. Encouraging the green transition through a more energy and resource efficient economy by increasing the use of renewable energy sources. Introduction of resource efficiency including sustainable supply of primary and secondary raw materials.

Mission

A significant increase in the share of renewable energy sources and the achievement of energy savings through the implementation of energy sustainable development projects and the application of energy efficiency measures.

By supporting the applicants through the process of creating project documentation and applying for the call for the allocation of non-reimbursable EU funds, the Agency will support a faster and better adaptation of the economy to the emerging energy challenges and future environmental requirements. Encouraging solar energy while promoting the green transition and creating green skills will have a positive impact on business sustainability, preserving existing and creating new jobs, and strengthening local and regional competitiveness.

What are we doing?

We provide support in the development and implementation of activities within the National Recovery and Resilience Plan 2021. – 2026, and other national, regional and local investment projects.

For all interested legal entities, public or private, commercial or non-commercial organizations, research centers, local and regional authorities, natural and legal persons registered in the Register of Farmers, we prepare project proposals for applying for tenders from EU funds.

We act as a contact and advisory center for private investments related to energy, with a special emphasis on projects that increase the installed capacity of solar energy and storage of electricity produced by photovoltaic power plants.

We will support projects of integrated photovoltaic power plants that will increase the installed capacities for the use of solar energy. A greater number of projects will also increase the capacity of utility companies, suppliers and technical experts and consequently contribute to lower costs of integrated PV installations in the future. In this way, our and neighboring counties (from Zadar to Dubrovnik-Neretva) will contribute to the outcomes of the European Green Deal.

We have experience with the European Structural Funds in the field of competitiveness and cohesion, social funds, and with our experience we want to help in the development of projects as a provider of knowledge and concrete preparation of project proposals for tenders from EU funds. We want to encourage a green transition, and within the framework of the reform of Support to companies for the transition to an energy- and resource-efficient economy, we want to help all legal entities from the Split-Dalmatia County, as well as the entire Republic of Croatia.

We create professional backgrounds, technical calculations and analyses, feasibility studies and business plans and other financial analyses. We manage research and development, construction projects, and provide expert and technical supervision.

We offer energy certification, educate and promote best practices. We implement promotional campaigns and processes involving citizens and key stakeholders.
