DEA currently has three employees: a director, a project manager and a public procurement specialist.

In March 2024. we are announcing tenders for two more employees: an energy consultant and a clerk-administrative secretary. As before, before the announcement of the tender, the DEA will announce the time of the announcement of the tender in the media and on its website and invite interested parties to prepare and apply.

The DEA’s budget is the same as last year – 645,781.17 euros.

The DZ Mertojak solar power plant was put into permanent operation. The solar power plant is located in a parallel mode of operation with the public power grid, thus DZ Mertojak changed the customer status to the customer status with its own power plant with the possibility of supplying electricity to the power grid. The produced energy is primarily consumed in the customer’s building, to whose installation the power plant is connected. All excess electricity produced that is not consumed in the facility is delivered to the power grid, i.e. sold on the basis of a purchase agreement with the selected supplier. In case of insufficient production from the solar power plant, the required energy is taken over from the selected supplier. The useful life of this power plant is at least 25 years, and the total expected annual production: 59,524.96 kWh.

We are also working on many other projects. The works on the installation of solar power plants at the following public facilities of Kralja Zvonimir Solin Elementary School are in the final phase.
Primary School Marka Marulića Sinj, Student Dorm Split and the reconstruction of FE Primary School Ostrog Kaštel Lukšić.
We expect these solar power plants to be connected and put into permanent operation by January 1. March 2024

In addition, DZ Vrgorac, DZ Imotski and DZ Dječji dispanzer Split are in the stage of announcing tenders for solar power plants.

In addition to the above, DEA created a guide for the installation of photo voltage in the past year, and four high-quality presentations were held for the public, three times in the Joker center and once in the City One center. Also, a certain number of lectures were held for local administration and self-government units throughout the County.
We have also created a project WEB form for project realization inquiries to enable all interested citizens and institutions to realize the photovoltaic power plant as soon as possible.
We implemented nine conceptual projects, and for them we obtained EES and main projects for schools in need of integral renovation in Split-Dalmatia County.
We also created a database of designers and contractors and published it on the website.
It is important to point out that this year we are starting with the analysis of energy consumption through the ISGE system, as well as the launch of the unified procurement of electricity and gas for all institutions owned by SDŽ. The implementation of this project will bring significant savings in the energy sector.

We have just started this important project. I also use this opportunity to invite all distributors and registered public charging stations for electric cars and bicycles, as well as electric charging stations for maritime transport in the area of Split-Dalmatia County to submit information on the location, number of chargers and power of charging stations to the DEA’s email (info@dea-sdz.hr) for the purpose of creating a comprehensive map of the network of electric charging stations in the county.
Last year, 1,618 electric cars were sold in Croatia.
The number of public charging stations for electric cars, bicycles and electric charging stations intended for maritime traffic is increasing day by day, but many citizens who own electric vehicles still do not have a map with the places where they are installed, nor overview information about their power. This problem would be solved by creating DEA’s comprehensive map of the network of electric charging stations. In the second step, the DEA will create a digital application that, in addition to data on the number and location of filling stations, will also contain information on whether the filling station is busy, which will make their use much easier for citizens and tourists. In order to make it easier for users to plan and use e-charging stations, we will work on the possibility of a single charging system for using them.

In 2024 we are launching the project implementation of e-charging stations for ships and ferries in cooperation with the County Port Authority during 2024.

I remind you that DEA has so far implemented the opening of a 2x11KW charging station for SDŽ electric vehicles at the Domovinsko rata 2 location, and public procurement for the realization of an e-charging station for e-vehicles and e-bikes at the location of DZ Matoševa Split will soon begin. At the end of the year, we submitted this project to a tender for support from the FZOIE.

The other 10 conceptual projects for the realization of photovoltaic power plants have been completed and submitted to HEP for the EES exit.
In 2024 we are planning their installation and commissioning.
