With an average of about 2,500 hours of sunshine per year in Split-Dalmatia County, we have significant potential for better use of solar resources.
\nWeather conditions (sun intensity, cloud cover, relative humidity and heat build-up) determine electricity production, but there are also technical factors to consider in order to maximize the potential of solar energy.<\/p>\n

The Dalmatian Energy Agency wants to provide advisory assistance to all citizens interested in investing in the use of renewable energy sources, with a special emphasis on the use of solar energy. Advisory assistance for citizens is free and available at all stages: from the initial consultation, during the preparation of project and technical documentation, to the final inspection.
\nThe Dalmatian Energy Agency is creating a database through which the interest of all citizens interested in investing in their own systems of renewable energy sources (RES) would be quickly and efficiently connected with bidders and designers:<\/p>\n

\u2022 photovoltaic systems
\n\u2022 solar thermal systems
\n\u2022 shallow geothermal systems and heat pumps
\n\u2022 smaller biomass boilers and stoves <\/p>\n

Through our website www.dea-sdz.hr<\/a> , citizens will be able to obtain a list of all bidders, certified designers and installers of renewable energy sources from the area of Split-Dalmatia County, as well as the entire Republic of Croatia.
\nThrough the site, citizens can ask questions and request recommendations, while the Dalmatian Energy Agency will maintain a database of certified contractors and designers, monitor their work, and publish excerpts from the database on its website.<\/p>\n

The expression of interest for registration in the database should be submitted to the agency’s e-mail address:<\/p>\n
