The Dalmatian Energy Agency (DEA) is in the process of creating a database of certified contractors and designers of renewable energy systems, therefore it invites manufacturers, distributors, contractors, installers and designers of renewable energy systems to submit their data. The database will be continuously updated and supplemented, and the data will be available to the public via the DEA website: www.dea-sdz.hr. On that website, citizens will be able to obtain a list of all certified contractors of renewable energy system designers from the area of \u200b\u200bSplit-Dalmatia County, as well as the entire Republic of Croatia.
\nCitizens will be able to ask questions and request recommendations through the site. DEA, on the other hand, will supervise the work of certified contractors and designers.<\/p>\n

The aim of this project is for the Dalmatian Energy Agency to make it easier for citizens to choose authorized contractors for designing renewable energy sources and to provide advisory assistance to citizens interested in investing in the use of renewable energy sources, with a special emphasis on the use of solar energy. Advisory assistance for citizens is free and available in all steps: from the initial consultation, during the preparation of project-technical documentation, to the final inspection. The creation of this database will enable the effective connection of the interests of citizens interested in investing in their own systems of renewable energy sources (RES) with providers and designers of: photovoltaic systems, solar thermal systems, shallow geothermal systems and heat pumps and smaller biomass boilers and stoves.<\/p>\n

Namely, with an average of about 2,500 hours of sunshine per year in Split-Dalmatia County, there is significant potential for better use of solar resources.
\nWeather conditions (sun intensity, cloud cover, relative humidity and heat accumulation) determine the production of electricity. However, there are also technical factors to consider in order to maximize the potential of solar energy. <\/p>\n
